My arXiv Library

A running log of papers I find relevant to my work, updated every few days. This is not a quality assessment — just a short note on what caught my attention and why. Inspired by M. Bustamante. Logging initiated on May 22, 2026.

Joint Multi-Period Fermi-LAT and LHAASO Constraints on Axion-Like Particles from Mrk 421 Using Profile Likelihood with Gaussian Copula Correlation
L. Qin, J. Wang, C. Yang et al.
arXiv:2606.05738  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: Joint Fermi-LAT + LHAASO ALP constraints from Mrk 421---potentially methodologically interesting.

A New Record Census of Dwarf AGN and a Bimodal MBH–M Scaling Relation with DESI DR1
R. Pucha, S. Juneau, M. Mezcua et al. (DESI Collaboration)
arXiv:2606.02699  ·  astro-ph.GA
Why: Relevant for gamma-ray searches in dwarf AGN.

The Delta Resonance in the Neutrino Sky
A. Khatee Zathul, K. Fang, F. Halzen, D. Hooper
arXiv:2606.00249  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: Proposes that the ~30 TeV break in IceCube's diffuse neutrino spectrum arises from the Δ-resonance in p–γ interactions, which would also lower the neutrino-source contribution to the isotropic gamma-ray background.
Possible High-Energy Neutrino Emission from Dark Matter Annihilation in the Disrupting Dwarf Galaxy Boötes III
S. Ji, Z. Wang
arXiv:2606.01853  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: Candidate high-energy neutrino signal from dark matter annihilation in the disrupting dwarf Boötes III, with a post-trial significance of 3.1σ pointing to a ~26.5 TeV dark matter mass.

Gamma-ray signature of superluminous supernovae: Fermi-LAT GeV detection of SN 2017egm and evidence of a central engine
Fermi-LAT Collaboration
arXiv:2605.29909  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: Fermi-LAT Collaboration 2017egm detection paper, following arXiv:2605.29897. My own work, arXiv:2604.16595, comes to similar conclusions on the engine parameters, though with a different approach to the time selection.

GWTC-5.0: Population Properties of Merging Compact Binaries
LVK Collaboration
arXiv:2605.27226  ·  astro-ph.HE
Open Data from LIGO, Virgo, and KAGRA through the Second Part of the Fourth Observing Run
LVK Collaboration
arXiv:2605.27090  ·  gr-qc
Why: LVK results / reference analysis / data products for the second part of the fourth observing run (O4b).
Strong Constraints on Millisecond Pulsar Injection Spectra from Fermi-LAT Observations of the Galactic Center
J. Koechler, P. De la Torre Luque, M. Di Mauro
arXiv:2605.26220  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: The expected follow-up to arXiv:2605.22913 - with all the caveats from that paper.
Constraints on Dynamical Dark Energy from Multiple Probes in the Full Dark Energy Survey
DES Collaboration
arXiv:2605.27221  ·  astro-ph.CO
Why: Keeping up with the state of evolving dark energy: full six-year DES combining SN + BAO + 3×2pt results in a 2.2σ deviation from ΛCDM from a single survey, rising to 3σ when combined with DESI DR2 BAO and CMB.

Electromagnetic Signatures From Primordial Black Holes in the Solar System
A. P. Klipfel, D. I. Kaiser
arXiv:2605.26204  ·  hep-ph
Why: Detection forecasts for signals from asteroid-mass PBH transits (AMEGO-X) and PBH explosions in the outer Solar System (HAWC, LHAASO, Fermi). Nice to see this mass window probed concretely --- have to read in more detail.
Legacy analysis of Milky Way dwarf spheroidal satellite galaxies: an update
A. Circiello et al. (Fermi-LAT Collaboration)
arXiv:2605.25586  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: An update to McDaniel et al. (2024), stricter cuts, different source class, PS map modeling.
25 MayA Precise Measurement of the Fermi-LAT Galactic Center Excess Morphology and Spectrum
M. Di Mauro (Fermi-LAT Collaboration)
arXiv:2605.22913  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: An upgraded LAT analysis of the GCE across 9 IEMs that pushes residuals to ≲10% and finds a spherical gNFW (γ≈1.15) preferred over NB+BB bulge templates. At face value, interesting result. I am curious about the iterative "find_sources" step, that (I think) is run with the NFW in place with extensions allowed up to 2 deg---these are comparable to the angular scales of the boxy bulge wings for example.
22 MayA Three-Dimensional Tomographic Reconstruction of the Galactic Cosmic-Ray Proton Density
H. Zandinejad et al.
arXiv:2605.22739  ·  astro-ph.HE
Why: A nice step toward 3D Galactic CR tomography beyond traditional ring analyses, though the physical interpretation of the 4–6 kpc enhancement remains assumption-dependent.
